A very hot day which could have made it difficult to dance but fortunately the heat had gone from the sun by the time we got to the St Mabyn Inn – mind you it was still a hot one!

In the end, all we had to contend with were the church bells which played throughout our set and out of step with our music! Still, it was a great and friendly venue with a good dance space out front and an enthusiastic audience.

We danced Ow Tevi and Bear Down Man then Cider Stomp, Boscastle Breakdown, Bonnie so Blue, Upton-on-Severn, September 4th and Tinners’ for us and for audience participation. We were joined by Morsterren, our Selkie, and Billy the Squid, our collecting hat!
