As in previous years, we were invited to dance at the annual Boscastle Shanty Festival. Opening the Saturday festivities to a reasonable audience we put on a rousing series of dances to wake everyone up and put them in the mood for the rest of the day.
It is a tight space, dancing in the marquee, but we managed a wide range of dances with multiple sets of Geevor and Harbourside as well as some of our older dances – we skipped the water from Cider Stomp though!
A wonderful weekend, many of us stuck around for shanty over the two and a half days and got some excellent feedback about our display!
