Boscastle Border Morris’ joint stand with Carn Brea, Trigg, Tywardreath, Pensans and The Wad at the Bird In Hand at the entrance to Paradise Park in Hayle as part of the Third Annual Morris Off. Despite poor weather we had a great day dancing under the umbrella with our fellow sides and an appreciative audience.
Arriving on one of Laurence’s double decker buses, we joined the other sides and were soon dancing in rotation. With so many sides there we had plenty of opportunity to watch as well as partake. Mostly, we danced dances that are unique to us but an “All sides in” Cuckoo’s Nest was too good an opportunity to miss!
