Launceston, 2025

We were delighted to join Dartmoor Border Morris for a lively joint dance out in Launceston town square. The evening was filled with music, colour, and energy, bringing the heart of the town to life.

Both sides treated the crowd to a vibrant selection of dances, and the square proved to be the perfect stage. The audience responded with warmth and enthusiasm, enjoying a dynamic programme that included exciting new additions for the season—such as the crowd-pleasing “Cider Stomp”, the rhythmic “Tides”, and the beautifully choreographed “Geevor.”

In true community spirit, dancers and onlookers came together for joyful renditions of “Shepherds Hey” and “Tinners’ Rabbit”—great fun for all!

A special thank you to our sponsor, Glyn from the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, who was thrilled to see us performing ‘naked’ (well, in our striking red printed T-shirts!). We also took a moment for a photo opportunity outside Lanstefan Arts, whose window of Morris dolls made the perfect backdrop.

We’ll be back in Launceston for the Folk Festival on Saturday 20 September at midday—see you there!
