Pudsey Day of Morris

The Pudsey Day of Morris is organised in Tavistock by Dartmoor Border Morris and this year they invited 16 sides to come an dance, including ourselves! A small panic first thing as our bus broke down before our Bus Wrangler could get to pick us up, but a few quick messages and we all found lifts to get us there on time!

We had a great three sessions of dancing with different sides around the town and took part in the mass Tinner’s Rabbot and the mass Cuckoo’s Next which were hectic but fun. With the exception of a few spits at one point during the day we were blessed with good, even sunny, weather throughout!

It was great being out around the town watching other dancers and showing off our unique dances – the day raised over £1,800 in contributions thrown into the buckets.
