The Tintagel Church Flower Festival has a very long tradition and is used to raise much needed funds for the running of the beautiful St Materiana Church on the cliffs. This year the Fesitval theme was wedding gowns and baptism robes loaned by members and friends of the nearby Parishes. Along with other local organisations and groups we were invited to put in a display and a few of our members stepped up and totally smashed the brief.
A flowered hat, veil and tatters gown plus floral displays and a wonderful poem completed an amazing display.
For the first time, members of the Parish of Forrabury & Minster with Trevalga assisted with the organisation of the Festival and shared the donations to help in the running of their churches.
